There are 2 ways to enter consumptions into a Sunwise project:

1.- Uploading the receipt in pdf so that Sunwise automatically reads, uploads and calculates the consumptions* (Available in certain countries)

2.-Entering consumptions Manually

For the 2nd option, when you create a project in Sunwise, click on the "Add Consumption" option.

The system will ask you to fill in or select the following mandatory fields:

  • Name: this is the name that appears as the holder on the receipt.

  • Service Number: consists of 12 digits, if in your receipt ID are 10 digits, you can start or end with "00" but it must be 12 digits in this field.

  • Current Rate: Select one of your country's rate or a custom rate.

  • Political Division: Estate, Apartment, Zone, it depends on your country.

  • City: name of the city

  • Zip Code: (if any)

Once you have entered the above fields, you will proceed to fill in the consumption history.

Regardless of the type of rate, the system will ask you to enter the date of the last period billed, as well as the period of time billed: monthly or bimonthly.


For the usual rates, consider the following general fields:

Period Start Date: This date is calculated automatically, according to the date of the last period entered and the time period selected: monthly or bimonthly. However, it can be modified.

End date of the period: It is calculated automatically, according to the date of the last period entered and the time period selected: monthly or bimonthly. However it can be modified.

kWh: Enter the Kilowatt-hours consumed in that period.

in addition to the previous fields, the demand (kw) of the period must be considered in certain rates (if configured that way)
